Post-Abortion Healing

WALKING TOGETHER PHILLY is a part of Project Rachel, a network of services in the Philadelphia area that provides support to people impacted by abortion. We offer help in different ways, including counseling and support groups, so that people affected by abortion do not have to carry their burden alone.

Project Rachel – It’s normal to grieve a pregnancy loss, including the loss of a child by abortion. It can form a hole in one’s heart, a hole so deep that sometimes it seems nothing can fill the emptiness. But you are not alone. Find community and healing through Project Rachel.

Men and Abortion – This website contains information that will be helpful to those who have been involved in abortion experiences and to those who care for them. This website is an outgrowth of a conference entitled “Reclaiming Fatherhood: A Multifaceted Examination of Men Dealing With Abortion.”

Fatherhood Forever Foundation – The purpose of this website is to create awareness of the fact that men are impacted by abortion. For too long, abortion has been considered as only a women’s issue. But as you will see, or may be experiencing, that is not the truth. For every woman affected by abortion, there is also a man; both equal parents to the aborted child. Although you may be at a point where everything seems hopeless, there actually is hope. You can heal. You can regain your life and find purpose and meaning.

Retreats Rachel’s Vineyard is a safe place to renew, rebuild and redeem hearts broken by abortion. Weekend retreats offer you a supportive, confidential and non-judgmental environment where women and men can express, release and reconcile painful post-abortive emotions to begin the process of restoration, renewal, and healing.

There are a number of reasons for one to be impacted and seek healing after abortion. Whether voluntarily or involuntarily involved in the abortion, the aftermath may not be what was expected. Through Post-Abortion Healing, we hope to raise awareness that we are here waiting to walk with you as you continue on your journey.  Please let us serve your healing needs.  Some examples are provided below:
